Gladys Jusino, 78 years of age of The Bronx, NY passed away on Saturday January 25th, 2020.
She was born on June 4th, 1941 to the late Eva Huacon and Humberto Conforme in Guayaquil, Ecuador.
She migrated to the United States in 1969 with nothing but a suite case. Her measure of success is not how much she accumulated but how she raised her kids, how she treated everyone with respect and tender love and care. She worked hard all of her life but never complained – that is “why they call it work” she would say. She made many friends along the way. We had many good times. We had rough times as well. On those occasions, her heart - although broken – would still manage to provide us with words of hope and comfort because of her undeniable strong faith.
Gladys is survived by her husband Julio Jusino, daughters (Mirrella, Gilda, Zazi and Lismaida) and sons (Dino and Douglas), 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Also survived by her sisters: Yolanda, Dora, Betty, Georgina and her brothers: Fausto and Orlando.
